To develop public interest lawyers form among law students, practitioners, and paralegals. This is in recognition of addressing Philippine society’s dire need of public interest law practitioners. This situation provokes a serious rethinking of educational and training priorities and focuses within law schools and colleges.

PILC intends to address the two-fold need for public interest law curriculum development and promotion in the law schools and colleges, and the conduct of training programs for the law students, lawyers, and paralegals in public interest law.
