To conduct a series of public interest law cases on major sectoral issues as the core program of PILC which thereafter provides the content of PILC’s policy advocacy. Especially in rural areas, the impact of structural adjustments in the economy, the failure of redistributive justice, the utter of lack of access and right to basic social services and the serious environmental disasters provide ample basis for a renewed emphasis on public interest law.
